CeraPace

Questions and answers

How do CeraPace products work and why do they not scratch vehicle paint surfaces?

  1. Dust and dirt are liquefied on contact and coated with special premium grade polymers that gently "lift and move" them away from the surface, preventing them from returning to the paint surface.
  2. The wrapped fabrics are then captured by microscopic fibers and microfiber tissue.
  3. The CeraPace formulation also contains nano waxes and carnauba wax that seal the vehicle's base metal while waxing the paint surface for double protection; they repel water, make the surface extremely smooth, shiny and provide antistatic protective properties. This helps prevent dust from sticking to the surface, keeping surfaces cleaner and shinier for much longer than old style traditional washing.

Can the products be used in both warm and cold climates?

Warm climate

CeraPace products can be applied in direct sunlight, but for optimal application conditions we recommend applying the product either in the shade or inside a covered parking lot, garage or showroom. When applying in direct sunlight, spray a little more product on the surface of the vehicle as this will compensate for the additional evaporation caused by body heat, and also spray onto the cloth first so that it is slightly damp, which will prevent rapid drying due to the absorption of the product by the heat of the vehicle body.

Cold climate

CeraPace products can be applied in cold climates, but at very low temperatures you may experience light streaking. This is due to the product becoming less viscous on cold surfaces after the first part of the cleaning process, however this can be quickly and easily resolved. Simply gently buff the area until all product residue is removed. If necessary, use more than one microfiber cloth to dry. Remember that CeraPace eco-friendly products do not contain any hazardous solvents or ingredients and therefore cannot be applied directly to snow or ice, and also be sure to protect them from freezing by storing them in sealed containers at room temperature.

Can the products be used on a wet surface?

Yes, as all our products are water-based and contain no hazardous ingredients or solvents, allowing the user to use them quickly, efficiently and effectively on wet vehicle surfaces without any detrimental effect on the finish. Just remember to bring more microfiber cloths for the final polish to achieve that all-important showroom mirror shine.

Are the products harmful to the environment?

Definitely NOT, because they do not contain any dangerous ingredients such as oil, acids, solvents, etc. unlike those found in most traditional products. Additionally, there is no runoff when using waterless washing products since there is no rinsing involved, unlike the thousands of gallons of contaminated wastewater that can directly end up in waterways when using the traditional bucket and hose washing method. The products also do not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which makes them extremely friendly to the user, the vehicle and the environment.

Do the products clean as well as traditional shampoos and water?

They work even better because the special ingredients contained in the non-scratch formulations liquefy and break down the dirt on the car's surface, which is then easily wiped off and then buffed with a microfiber cloth to create an instant shine. Not only that, but waterless car wash products add another layer of protection against dust, dirt and road debris, keeping your car cleaner and shinier for longer.

Where can I use the products?

You can use them absolutely anywhere you choose; indoors, outdoors and even in direct sunlight or wet conditions and on all types of cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, trains, yachts, boats, airplanes, pedal cycles, any surface you can imagine. They contain no harmful solvents, petroleum products, acids or toxic chemicals. All our products are reliably unique and equally friendly to the user, the vehicle, nature and the environment.

What type of cloth should be used with the products?

Use only a high quality microfibre cloth such as our proven microfibre cloths which are 40 x 40cm and 380 GSM. The microscopic fibers contained in the ultra-absorbent tissue of the cloth capture and retain dirt, thereby safely removing it from the vehicle. We recommend using 2 folded microfibre cloths for vehicle maintenance with each wash, one to remove surface dirt and the other to polish and finish. Fold the cloths in half and then again so that you have many clean surfaces to work with from each cloth, but you may need more than two cloths, especially for extremely dirty or wet vehicles, especially if they are covered in salt during the winter. Our microfiber cloths are used by professionals because they absorb higher amounts of water with a thicker and softer weave than normal towels, giving a professional, showroom shine.

Can I wash microfiber cloths and how is it considered waterless if you have to clean the cloths in water?

Yes, cloths can be washed when they get too dirty or they must be washed after each use. Machine wash at low temperature (30 degrees) or hand wash with standard detergent. Do not use fabric softener as this may damage the fabric of the cloth. You can wash professional microfiber cloths over and over again without affecting fabric quality or performance.

The term "waterless" is often misunderstood to mean that water is completely excluded from the cleaning process, which is an unrealistic expectation, as the name Water-Less suggests. However, waterless products completely eliminate the need for buckets of water, hoses or pressure washers and thus significantly reduce the amount of water used for washing, and soiled microfiber cloths can simply be washed in the washing machine like dirty clothes or overalls, with the dirt being collected in the washing machine's filter system and waste water is controlled by the domestic drainage system and thus directed to the relevant water treatment plant, which again contributes to the protection of the environment around us.

Are the products expensive?

The products can be used for more than just surface cleaning as they not only clean but also highly polish and wax all at once with a simple process of spraying, wiping and polishing panel by panel until the entire vehicle is finished. This saves you time, effort, and therefore money, and since you don't have to buy a lot of different car care products, you also save space. Traditional washing involves using multiple products and processes and revisiting the same area of the car multiple times.
You need more sprays to achieve the same result as from CeraPace and this makes it the cheapest product on the market today.
